Hello,

I am looking for bronco parts to complete a project that I inherited. Anyone know where to find a bridge/tremolo for a Bronco? I keep checking ebay and see bodies, pick guards, and necks, but no bridges. They must be out there some where. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Thanks,

Oh man, good luck with that. The Bronco isn't like a Musicmaster or Duo Sonic....the Bronco has a weird, one of a kind bridge. Of course you know that! I hope you find one, but I've never ever seen one for sale independantly, and as far as I know, no company makes a Bronco style bridge either! You may just have to buy another Bronco as a parts guitar, or buy another one that's more complete and build 1 guitar from the best parts from both!

Steve-oh,

The guitar that I have is pretty much complete. In fact I have the top portion of the bridge/tremolo, but I am missing the piece that it cradles into. I know that the parts have to be out there because I am always finding bodies, necks, pickups, tuners, pick guards, plates, screws, etc., off of vintage guitars so logic would dictate that the other hardware must be out there some where, but I keep coming up short. I briefly considered franken-mustanging it, as tremolos for the mustang are plentiful, but that just seems wrong. I know that I will find one eventually, but like most I want it yesterday.

Thanks again,

Hey Steve!

Yeah, I looked at that one too. I can't figure what's going on with the bridge though. The metal looks like it's been soaked in an ammonia bath or something. Is it the cradle that I need that is just worn or is that thing messed up? Even when I enlarge it I can't really tell what is going on. Hmmmmm? Maybe I'll message the dude and see if he can send me some better pics of the bridge.

Thanks again,

It looks like the cradle you need is there.....but the upper portion which includes the trem arm, is gone :( I think the parts are just old and tarnished.....if not rusted, should shine back up easily enough! Get him to send you better pics :)
