i was browsing the net for info on the jagmaster and i heard that it has a 24.5" scale neck... later on i came across an article talking about the jagmasters being one of the guitars that are made with something called a "conversion neck" and this guy was stating that he put a strat 25.5" scale neck on it because of that so:

1) what is a conversion neck?

2) does the jagmaster have one (what ever it is)?

3) does this mean that i can use a 25.5" scale neck on this guitar?

Go to: www.Warmoth.com

The information is there and should answer most if not all of your questions.

current models have a 24" scale

So, a Jagmaster conversion neck will work on a strat and vice versa.

yes, vice versa means "exactly the opposite" ..... as I said

Remember though, there is more than one version of the Jagmaster. If you aren't sure if a particular Jagmaster has the conversion neck, measure the distance from the 12th fret to the bridge ( any saddle) Then measure the same on a strat. If the distance is the same, you can swap necks.

You can start a thread in the Squier Guitars lounge and discuss everything about the Jagmaster there.
