RE: Pickguard for Vintage Jazzmaster, Anodized Aluminum Gold

Can anyone tell me if a pickguard shield is required when installing an Anondized Aluminum Gold pickguard, or is that the point, it doesn't need one???

Thank you.

The aluminum pickguard is its own shield -- you'll be fine without one.
