I can't say I've ever heard of any Fender with the J prefix,in fact I've only heard of Gibsons with the J prefix and with Gibson the numeric designation jumps from J-30 to J-45. I don't see any listing for a J series anywhere among my Fender info, that's not to say that it doesn't exist but I can't find anything among my files on Fender.

As far as I know, apart from Gibson, the only J-35 I know is from Rockbridge.

I put it to google.......

It said,

No results found for "Fender J-35".

That would be a No.

Nope, and if Fender made anything with a model number of J-35, it was not a guitar!

i think you are thinking of a gibson j-35 the guitar was first made in the 30s to compete with martins dreadnought line. Then in 1942 gibson made the j-45 (they are closely related but i dont know the differences)

If your looking for a gibson acoustic though you cant go wrong with a gibson j-45. They may be the perfect acoustic.

Saab made a J-35, it was a jet fighter of the 60s and 70s.
