Hey, everyone. I'm in the process of restoring a vintage Mustang. All of the electronics are original and the neck is nice and straight. I'm only having to refret it and refinish it (thanks to the knuckle-head who repainted it with a brush). The only thing missing was the pickup covers and the tremolo arm. I have already discovered that the "65 Mustang" trem arm currently being produced does not fit the vintage bridge. Any ideas on where I might be able to score one?

I'd ask one of them?

Thanks, Angry. I checked out Allparts already and they didn't have a vintage arm. I've about decided to take the old tailpiece and make the hole 1/32 of an inch larger. I didn't want to do anything like that, but it's not as if it's a 58 Strat.

I'll check out the other sites and bookmark them. Thanks for the links!

Before drilling out your bridge an easier fix is to grind or file down the new tremolo arm to make it fit your bridge .
