i love the thing from what i have played in shops. the pickups are monsters. i just cant bring myself to pay 600 bucks for a guitar built in korea. too bad because its a pretty solid guitar....also the back of the neck is painted if you get the black or white one.

i haven't played the cherryburst one but im guessing the neck is burst with laquer over it

True. Though I have a tele thinline made in mexico and it screams... I guess personally i don't mind where it's made so long as it sounds and plays nice enough. It just seems to be a great guitar and it's flashy enough for gigs and shows

the guitar is a beauty. i have it in white and it has such a clean finish.

the pickups are excellent and give such a warm tone when on clean and when you turn the distortion up it is a beauty.

i recomend it. i've had mine about 5 months and have had no problems with it.

beautiful guitar :D

also can i just say how it is the sound that matters so don't let the fact that it is made in korea put you off....it could be worst...it could be made in china..lol

Very true :) Does it give a crunchy distortion or a creamy sort? I'm just kinda torn between several guitars, and I would like something that has a heavier distorted sound

I love my TC-90. I have wanted a guitar with P-90s for a while - I like the sound: meatier than standard Fender singles, but brighter than buckers with more midrange. Great overdriven sound too.

Anyway, this is the best guitar I have ever owned. I also have an American Deluxe HSS Strat, and the workmanship on the TC-90 is equal to the American. The Koreans really know how to build a guitar.

I bought a cream one a few months ago. It's GORGEOUS! Front pickup's warm and huge, back pickup's got loads of bite, middle position's twangy and versatile.
This is a LOUD guitar for a single coil (I've never had P90s before), and drives pedals and amps nice and hot with bags of character. Unlike some of my other guitars the tone stays bright even when you back the volume off to clean up the sound.
Upper fret access is excellent due to very un-fender set neck smoothly sculpted into the body. Lovely abalone dot markers.
2 gripes:
1-Unless you've got both pickups on it hums like crazy. Single coils, I guess, but it's really intrusive.
2-I wish it had seperate volume controls for each pickup so I could mix rather than switch between the two, but I guess that's part of the telecaster vibe. Maybe I could get the tone pot rewired as a 2nd volume knob? I never use the tone knobs on guitars anyway....
Buy one... we may get lucky and they may be worth a few bob in a few years time as forgotten gems!
Actually, DON'T buy one, then mine'll be worth more ;)
