Hey everyone!

First post on this forum, I have a question. I am cleaning up and partially restoring my brother's '77 Mustang. The tremolo bar is missing, and he wants a replacement, vintage if possible, but he only wants to spend 40.00. I can't find one for that kind of dough, but I can find reissue ones all day. Here's my question; are the holes for the bar the same size on the original vs. the reissue. I know in theory they should be, but I don't want to buy a reissue bar without being sure. Thanks again,

It worked on mine since it is held by the little screw on the side anyway, the bar itself has no thread.
