As Floyd said ebay is your best bet as they show up there from time to time you just have to make sure that they are all original ESPECIALLY the pickups as that is what made them so unique-the Fender humbuckers. BTW they were made from '74-'80 and the blonde maple is the most valuable but the top price in the Vintage Price Guide is $3,900 and from$2,900 for the sunburst.

i know you want a starcaster, but for the same or slightly lower $$$ you can get a travis bean, which is way more unique and IMO one of the best sounding guitars ever made
