Post subject: Sub Sonic ?

I've been hearing alot about Fender Sub Sonics and dont really know and when i search it a Tom Delonge Signture and a HSS cmes up, is it just a strat with a humbucker at the bridge

The Sub-sonic is a long-scale (27-inch) hardtail guitar, with the other specifics as per a traditional Stratocaster. AFAIK it's not currently cataloged although FMIC re-issues them periodically, much like the Strat 12-string.

There is way more to the Subsonic than just a humbucker in the bridge. It has a longer scale length because it is a baritone guitar, 27" as opposed to a normal Strat's 25.5". Tuned down usually to B-E-A-D-Gb-B.....hence why Fender named it Subsonic.
