Hey everyone

My father recently purchased a Fender from an older gentleman. I've tried researching the guitar but have obtained no results. Perhaps some of you can help.

My father does not own a computer and can not send me pics of this guitar so I rely on his account for the description of the instrument.

The body is like that of a Stratocaster. The color is sea foam green. The neck is maple with 22 frets. The headstock read "Fender USA Nashville Edition". The fender logo is like the old spaghetti logo. Stratocaster is not written on the headstock.

The words "special edition" are written on the body of the guitar right above the pickguard. That is all the info I've got. As I've mentioned, I have no means to get pics of the guitar. So for those of you who know something about this guitar, all information is appreciated.

Thanks

John

Seeing as how you can't post any pics, I'd recommend you get the serial number off your dad and email it to fender.

The only info that I can find on a "special edition" Strat is that it has been made from '04 to present. The info says that it's an import with"special edition" on back of the headstock it comes in various styles-that's probably where the "Nashville Edition"comes into it.It also says that it comes in 50s and 60s specs with maple fretboard, koa or ash body and see-thru or opaque finishes.Hope this helps because without pics or serial numbers it's a shot in the dark.

Thanks everyone for the info.

Turns out that the guitar is a FRAUD. That is why nothing made sense.
Once again a big thank you to everyone who helped.
