Hey everybody- Glad to be a member of the forums as I'm a long time fender fanboy :D

My question pertains to a guitar I've seen a few times lately, and being in the market for a new one soon, I'm very curious as to what this is. It looks to me like some sort of Jaguar or Jazzmaster minus the switches...

A few pics:

Any help would be appreciated

While it looks similar to a Jagmaster, i do not think it is one. It looks to be a Jazzmaster with humbuckers and a stop tail piece with tune o matic bridge. (which the Jagmaster does not have, the Jagmaster has a Stratocaster type trem on it) If you look very carefully in the pic where he is sitting down the headstock clearly has a Fender logo not a Squier logo. Steve Klein from New Found Glory has Jazzmasters similar to this. They have Stratocaster hardtail bridges and one emg pickup with a single volume control. This guitar seems to be a one off. If you want a Jazzmaster with humbuckers look into the Lee Ranaldo Model or the new Blacktop Series that is coming out. They have a Jazzmaster with HS configuration. There is also a Classic Player Jaguar with humbuckers.

One of them looks to have p90s.

Probably a CS model built to specs for them.

The only thing I'd seen like that was a Squeir guitar at Best Buy! Yup! That's what it was ... the difference here is that the headstock in one or two of the above photos appears to say "Fender!"

You're right ... this guy (Squeir) had two humbuckers on it, a toggle switch and I think a volume and tone knob! One could go to town doing neat things to it! It was only costing something like $219.00!!!
