I just bought a Japanese HH Jaguar used. I thought it was a couple of years old since it was made in Japan and they are now made in Mexico. I looked up the serial number, and it shows that the guitar is a 1994-1995. I do not think that they made these back then, although I admit I could be wrong. Can anyone help me with this? I am just curious now and want to know. The serial # is T 053011. According to the Fender website the letter T followed by six numbers = circa 94-95. Did they code these HH jaguars differently?

Thanks, they sent me the exact date it was made. It was made on 2/4/09. That is a lot more in line with what I thought. Either way the guitar is awesome and is my main instrument in the band.

How much did you pay for it?

I paid $450 for it, plus I had to buy a brand new Fender Jazzmaster hard case for it $150. Not bad for a guitar that is essentially still new. There was a "Brand" new Jaguar HH (floor model) there going for $799 that was in worse shape than the one I purchased. I feel that I got a good deal even though I had to go and buy an expensive case for the guitar.
