Hahaha! Funny one Tissan. Yes a "7"ender Jagstang would be a nice match with your "7"ender Blues Deluxe and contrast well with your "7"ender '52 reissue Telecaster.

Seriously though, I always wondered why Leo Fender wrote his signature with a backwards "F" so it looks like a 7.

Anyways, I don't know if you're trolling or not since the Jagstang is talked about very often here (just do a search) so there are hundreds of opinions already here. Google is your friend also: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&sour ... oEBU_Qr6ir

Thanks, I'm going to review.

First, it seems that the dealer has a little overpriced the Jag around 700 bucks.

As I go back to france by tomorrow, I'm afread that it will be for the next time.

Yeah, it's clearly a half-baked guitar. Even Kurt rarely used it.

I assume you mean "bucks", not "bugs". I mean who would really want to be paid in insects? Well $700 is too much for a Jagstang unless you're a die-hard Nirvana fan. Try talking the seller down in price.

You see the first generation of Jagstangs were made in Japan from 1995 until being discontinued in 2001. They were "reissued" in 2003 until 2005, but this time made in Mexico. Many sellers put a premium price on the original made in Japan Jagstangs thinking they are something special, hence the $700 price tage. Wikipedia to the rescue: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fender_Jag-Stang

If the seller in Detroit won't come to his senses and strike a deal with you, I'm sure you'll run into Jagstangs back home in France or elsewhere in Europe since thousands and thousands of Jagstangs were made.

p.s. Or judging from your first post and the confusion around "7" and Leo Fender's "F", do you mean "7irst, it seems that the dealer has a little overpriced the Jag around F00 bugs"???
