i just bought an old school Fender Mustang and theres something wrong with the tremolo cigar bar thingo, its too long, so low that i cant restring it. i only got it today and the dude still had the strings off from when he took it apart to photograph it...

i took it all apart and took the tremolo and i couldn't see how i could adjust it to make it sit up so i can actually put strings under it...

HELPPPPPP... i wanna play this beauty

Allen wrench will fit in the holes on each side and raise it up.

Is this a reissue or vintage made in US?

L series Mustangs just sound great,I have an Oct. '65 Mustang, it has the F neckplate but clearly has the L series hardware and pups.

Hey Pinky I also replied to your post on Melband :
Don't know if you know but to string your Mustang the string goes through the "cigar" from the bridge side then back under the "cigar" and over the bride .When you look at the "cigar from the bridge side you will see the ball ends of the strings .
I just sold my 1965 Mustang today and am missing it already .
