Back in May there was a guitar show in metro Chicago.

Several big-ish dealers contracted Fender to do some custom "Thin-Skin' '62 Reissue" USA Jazzmasters, Jaguars (and Strats and Teles).

A Shell Pink Jaguar absoulutely mesmerized this picker and NEEDED to become his.

'Bought it from Dave's Guitars, LaCrosse, WI.

WHOLLY FOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a magnificent guitar. Custom Shop instrument for way less than the price of a formal one.

As nice as the '09 Classic Player Jaguar MIM is, it is now up for sale. The '62 Reissue is beyond wonderful.

Fender can still make the instruments which made them great. And they proved it.

I just discovered these "thin skin nitro" models, and what I want to know is why aren't they on the Fender website? I searched for them and couldn't find them anywhere. It seems strange. That being said, I definitely want one!

Pretty cool. My wife and daughter would go ga ga. I'm not sure I could live up to the flash of it.

Sorry, Esteemed Colleagues, for no Shell Pink Jaguar photos.

'Am a computer not-too-literate and the concept of posting photos or a pic like at the left of the tread is beyond this user's compu-ability.

And frankly, 'don't care to get much more compu-literate.

Like with cell phones, PDAs, electronic books...life happily goes on without them in this life
