Hello Fender Forum Members...long time reader, first time poster...

I'm not sure, but I'm thinking its a 1966. Since it has the fender pickup covers and a few other details not found on the later ones...maybe its one of the first runs?
Serial Number is: 503611

So if they were discontinued in 1970, and the production ran from 1966 through 1972. I figure normally fenders serial system should push it out a little farther to 1973...so that can't be right.

But in comparing photos online with what I have, a few things stand out...
- The Binding
- The Pickup Covers
- The Tailpiece
- (I already figure the bridge and pickguard is non-original)

Please help me out.
Thanks!
-J

that is going to a roadshow to find out what it is worth today.
not even an offer let alone what it might be worth

first time attempting to put a picture up here.
first time a problem encountered doing it too
it is rainbow green in Excellent showroom condition with HSC(I need one)
one I have has seen better days but has protected it well.
it's in link(guitar)

oh and btw the serial on the F plate designates colors used in tree dye.
actual serial is or should be either under pup or on the neck when removed fwiw mine is 211514

There should be a date stamped on the heel end of the neck. You'll need to disassemble the guitar in order to see it.
