I have a Orpheum resonator guitar (OR16SB) with only one sound hole. I got this as a Fathers day gift. Why is there one sound hole? I looked up this model and all pics and descriptions show the OR16SB with two sound holes. In fact don't all resos have two sound holes?

It is unusual to have only 1 sound hole, most resonator guitars have one large and 2 smaller cut outs. Does yours appear to have been modified over the years or was it made like that from the factory? Please forgive as when I think Orphinium I think old time banjos and res guitars (like from the early 1900's).
