Hi! First time poster here...

I have had a Thurston Moore Jazzmaster for about half a year now and I love it... But since I use it frequently the finish has started to pick up oil from my skin.

I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to clean the oil from the guitar. It's not a glossy finish so the oil can't just be wiped away with a damp cloth... I'm stumped :(

Thanks, any help is greatly appreciated.

I would say no to the damp cloth. I was not wanting to screw mine up so went ahead and bought some spray designed for guitars. Maybe there is something cheaper and just as good. I didn't do any searches, .there may be better adivce, just bought it didn't want to take chances.
