Hey,

My friend is offering to trade me his stepdad's old Fender Prodigy for an autographed Iron Maiden tour program I have. This is what I know of the guitar

-The tremolo is a bit rusted
-Gets a lot of feedback on my Marshall
-No trem arm, can easily get one though
-Nut is broken on the low E string, can be replaced

Just give me some information on this, and should I do it?

The guitar is worth no more than $400 in good condish, how much is the program worth to you?

Not worth much

When my friend brought over the Prodigy, it sounded amazing through my rig!

If there's no sentimental value to the autograph, I'd say do it. There's an Iron Maiden 1983 World Piece Tour programme for sale $50 on the web. Good trade. Post pictures when you get the guitar please.

I'd do it in a heartbeat.

The local GC has one for sale for $749 or something like that. Cheapest one on eBay is $600. It's worth more than what the autograph is worth if you do the minimal repairs it needs. It's also an interesting piece of Fender history that will only be worth quite a bit in the near future.
