is it possible to lock a mustang bridge??

Screw the 2 posts in the tail all the way down to the base or I folded washers in half, like a semi circle and fit around each post, a couple of them on each side and lower the posts until it made contact.

I actually use the tremolo system but keep the bridge very low because the whole thing seems flimsy to me, not a very good system.

I like the tremelo on my Mustang but I don't use it with the bar ,just give it a shake with the palm of my hand .

That's the most common way I do it. The screw that holds the bar fell out of mine years ago, and I've never been able to replace it.

I have no trouble with the bridge.
