Hiya all,
First time poster but long time lurker here

I've just bought a Jazzmaster/blaster Lee Ranaldo edition and I'm having a little problem. I'm trying to adjust the height of the bridge, but the hex key I used to adjust my previous USA Jazzmaster doesn't work with this Jazzmaster.

Anyone know what hex key I need? The bridge might be a Mustang bridge (it has Mustang saddles atleast) ... does this make any difference?

I'd really appreciate some help here

Edit: the key I tried is an .050.

I'm also a former lurker that has the same question: Lee Ranaldo Jazzmaster with a Mustang bridge that I can't figure out how to lower. My dealer told me to try an allen wrench, but the holes in the bridge posts don't seem to match any of the English or metric wrenches that I have, and don't really even seem to be faceted to accept an allen wrench. He also suggested that I take the bridge off and try to adjust the posts from the back, but they seem fixed in place. Oddly, the posts are threaded, which leads me to think that they are designed to be adjustable. The manual that came with the guitar only addresses the Jazzmaster bridge, not the Mustang. I've searched everywhere I can think of without finding an answer, and I would sure appreciate some help.

Managed to find the correct allen/hex key. It's a 1.5mm one. Not sure why Fender didn't decide to use the same keys as most of their other USA guitars ... needless to say I've gone out and bought a pack of metric and imperial allen keys.
