R u doing a solid body or semi hollow BN?I have always wanted to make a guitar but dont have enough time to.Where did u get the wood?Where would a person my age (almost 13) get it or would I have to use plywood?

rschreck97, It will be a solid body. Just like the standard Jaguars.
I bought the blank on EPAY, I don't really want to advertise the seller.
Only 'cause it took a while and it was/is a pain for the specs (for the cuts).
I do suggest checking EPAy to see what you can find.
I didn't want the standard wood type.
I have seen Martin guitars built out of plywood.
If you have the tools to build it, you cn do it out of most anything... really.
I would check to see (if you don't have the tools) to pick up a precut, prepainted body.

This is a mess of sites to check out...

If you need more let me know.-N 8)

What body would you suggest out of these three?musiclander, jagstang, or mustang
I don't see alot of the Musiclanders. I have always wanted to do one of those. That's just me though.
If you really like the Jag-stang, and can't afford one....that would be cool too.
Mustang as well.
Let me know what you come up with and if you need help let me know.-N 8)

I think I will do musiclander.I want to know how will I make some spots for pickups?

They can route it for you when you buy it.
Then you don't have to messwith it.-N 8)

I had a pickup go bad on my 63 Jaguar and I replaced it with a Seymour Duncan Antiquity. It is very, very close to the original pickup sound.
If you're looking for the original Jaguar sound, I would use these pickups. Hope my 2 cents help.

Thanks for the advice! Sincerly ...., I was wondering about the Antiquty series. I love Seymour Duncans. BTW there is a company that rehabs/rewinds vintage pups if you would like to get it fixed. I had a Tele pup done and It sounds amazing.
I have to check in and see how my Dad is progressing on the body.
I still have to get my Tele pics(big project build) posted too.
Thanks for the 2 cents and Welcome to the Forums!-n
