This body blank came in the mail today.
Spalted Black Korina. My Dad and I are building Jaguar with 1:1 guitar plans. (Long distance Father and son project he lives in Minnesota)
I have quite a few other projects working all at once but I will post the progress. I thought I would share. -N 8)

Thanks Tanner!
I may ask Martian what he thinks would be fun, But I've heard Seymour Duncan makes a nice set of Jaguar Pickups. 8) -N

That's a beautifully grained piece of wood to start with and would look great left natural or with a transparant coloured stain.Lots of luck.Keep us posted with a play by play as Ceri is doing.

Thanks everyone!!!!
I spoke to my Dad and he is toying with colors and finishes. I will have templates soon. I will post the pic's as soon as I can.

I will be posting a "custom" Tele build I am doing VERY soon in the Lounge section, soon.
I finally have all the parts, I just need an ash board to demo my alcohol wood stains so I get it right. I (hopefully  ) will be doing a 3 tone sunburst.
Keep an eye out for it. I am gonna need advice and suggestions.-N 8)

rschreck97, It will be a solid body. Just like the standard Jaguars.
I bought the blank on EPAY, I don't really want to advertise the seller.
Only 'cause it took a while and it was/is a pain for the specs (for the cuts).
I do suggest checking EPAy to see what you can find.
I didn't want the standard wood type.
I have seen Martin guitars built out of plywood.
If you have the tools to build it, you cn do it out of most anything... really.
I would check to see (if you don't have the tools) to pick up a precut, prepainted body.

I don't see alot of the Musiclanders. I have always wanted to do one of those. That's just me though.
If you really like the Jag-stang, and can't afford one....that would be cool too.
Mustang as well.
Let me know what you come up with and if you need help let me know.-N 8)
