Yes; nothing compares.

I have several Tom Anderson guitars so fitted ; let's say that instead of having your guitar 85% in tune you have it 95% in tune.
A pity large companies are reluctant to join.
But the trend is growing..

I am wondering also how this system works with semi hollow guitars like my gretsch(fitted with a Bigsby).

You'll face problem with the adjustment of the bridge for each string..
