Ok So a local(and favorite) is selling a used musicmaster II.I love those style guitars and that the fact it is old makes it even better. And so that brought me to this question.Does any of you out there play a musicmaster or a musicmaster II?I'll post a pic of it later.

Yes I play a Musicmaster 11 and love it . I love the simplicity of 1 pup and minimal controls . The neck on it is a B compared to A necks on a Mustang and a Bronco I have which seem too narrow for me .The Musicmaster is my main go to guitar .

I own and play a 62 musicmaster.I have owned it since 63 and now i'm teaching my 13 year old grand daughter to play.I still have the fender amp ( 10 watts) that came with the instrument. The color is desert sand and is all original except the nut.I just wish that I could play it in the bluegrass band I play in .It plays much easier than my 53 hd 28 Martin but I guess bluegrass and accoustic go together.

I have a Musicmaster, modded to Duo-Sonic specs with 2 pickups. These are awesome guitars. The older Fender short scale necks are great, and really don't feel that small. The newer short-scale necks don't feel right.

The Musicmaster II resembles very much to a Bronco except for the pickup placement.

I love the body shape of Musicmasters and Duo-Sonics. Very classy.

Depending on condition and how original it is .
Could be worth a bit more , check what they are bringing on Ebay .

Nice.

If you are ok with parting from it and will not have regrets in a few years when the price goes up it will be a good deal. Serious collectors are hard to come by and the future is hard to predict.

i had a musicmaster just like the one in toronado's posting.

i sold it 2 years ago on ebay. it had many dings in it, but the neck was straight, and all the electronics work well.

it sold for close to a grand
