Hi!

I was reading another topic wich compared MIM Fender vs MIUSA Fender. Then I was asking myself if Warmoth ''Fender'' are at least as good as MIUSA or better. Considering that you can pay almost $2000 for a Jazzmaster or a Jaguar and less than $1200 for a Warmoth Jazz or Jag (with same pickups, same Fender tremolo, same tuners, same spec) is it worth paying for a logo?

I builded myself a Telecaster Custom with a Warmoth body and some Fender genuine parts (including neck). Now I have a beautiful Fender Telecaster Custom with the options I wanted for the half of the cost.

Finally, what do you think about Warmoth?

Warmoth sells high quality parts that seem to be just as good (at least in construction) as Fender. Their finishes also seem to be on par with factory finishes and they offer many options and are ultimately customizable.

IMHO Warmoth parts, in the hands of a competant guitar builder, can be just as good as a modern Fender guitar. This however does not include Custom Shop or Vintage guitars.

I've not used Warmoth Parts myself but in all Honesty...no it's not worth paying for a label.
I personally believe if you buy your guitar in pieces and build it or have it built for you somewhere it adds a greater bond between you and your instrument.
I mean any Artist you look at had modified or changed there instrument to make it their own and so should you:) im going to most likely do the warmoth thing myself:)
