Post subject: Is my JM trem handle right?

Should there be a positive stop when I insert the handle in my trem unit? I like the overall design but besides being a bit sloppy (there's a bit of 'play' in the hole), the handle can readily be pushed so far in that it bottoms out against the cavity and stops movement altogether. Yes, it's the original handle. No, taping it is not a solution. Could I be missing a part? It's frustrating to have such a cool surf guitar with a trem unit that doesn't cooperate.

It sounds like the arm bushing is broken.

Thanx, Hoosier, for the links. I had lost my bookmark to that Jag/JM site. Just changed strings last nite but next change, I'll pull the screws and take a look under the hood.
