Was considering buying an original Fender 1978 Mustang, in blonde colour with a black pickguard and maple neck. Average condition with some fret wear and plenty of nicks and dings in the body. Was wondering if someone could tell me how much it is worth?

Thanks

Hi jm92 a 78 Mustang in mint condition with the case is worth $1,350-1,450 so the one you're looking at would be worth far less especially if it's all dinged up.That being said it's a great guitar but I wouldn't go over $350 for it.

also the year..... fenders quality could be great..... or horrible in the 70s because they were bought out by cbs who, obviously, didnt know anything about making guitars so definitely ask about the pickups (and play it if you can)
