Hey I'm just curious about this guitar. I'm Interested in getting one right now but I'd like to pick up more information on it. I found 2 at Guitar Center one was a vintage one and the other was a re-issue. I didn't get to play it very long though because I had to leave. But my question is would this guitar be a good guitar to play some blues based stuff on?

ya i got the reissue and i like it a lot for blues, it plays great clean and light distortion and if you really work with it, you can find some really really nice tones, i love mine

Its a pretty good guitar for a student guitar, i would prefer the vintage one because its made of alder i beleive and the 65 reissues on the market now are made of poplar. Other alternatives to this guitar would the Jag-Stang or the Jaguar, Both are shortscales. :D
