I just got my 65 reissue mustang back from a liscensed lutier. I had a Seymour Duncan JB humbucker installed. Here's my question. When I touch either of the screws that hold the pickup in place it makes a buzzing sound. This only happens when the phase switch for that pickup is pushed toward the bridge, but the buzzing stops when I touch the strings on the neck to form a chord. What is the problem?

Here's another question. Is it possible to wire the humbucker to make the in/out phases backwards. I think its opposite of what it was when the original pickup was in it, then if the switches were both to the left or both to the right I am pretty sure it was in phase, and when they were opposite each other it was out of phase. Now with the JB humbucker it sounds out of phase when the phase switches are both the same direction and in phase when one is to the left and the other is to the right. What is causing this??

Please someone help me. This guitar lutier had my guitar for about 45 days to install the humbucker but he said it was due to being very busy because of the holidays and I really need some input before I take it back.

Could be grounding issues.
But changing the phase can affect buzzing as well.

It only buzzes when I touch the pickup screws, and only when the pickup switch is towards the bridge.
