go for the Japanese made Jaguar. about half the cost of a US reissue and they come in more colors with more options. My CIJ has matching headstock in Sherwood Green Metallic.

+1. Additionally, Japanese Jaguar pickups are a little bit closer to the real deal, so you won't have the immediate need to trade them out.

i think you have it the other way 'round. most people swap out their Japanese pickups, but they don't realise that all you have to do is wax-pot them and they sound just as great as the US reissues

oh, sorry. you can check ebay. or ishibashi
the second, smaller price is the one you want, since you don't have to pay taxes.
use http://www.xe.com to convert the currency. with ishibashi, they state on their website that they will only ship to japan, but if you e-mail them and tell them what model you want, they will sell to you. they also have more models than advertized on the website. just e-mail them at http://www.ishibashi-music.com

I came by an original 64 Jag about 10 years ago for a $100.00 . Managed to keep it intact and in good condition until I sold it about a year ago for a little over 2 grand...

other than being a little on the heavy side and somewhat noisey was a great axe...
hope the guy that bought it is enjoying it as well as I did.

Do you guys prefer the singles or the HH? I like the looks of the baritone best but the sound just isn't for me. Is it worth all the extra crap to get the HH?
