I'm pretty sure this was a spoof in response to Gibson's Authentic Hendrix Strat-style guitar.

I believe that this is a fake. The strings on the neck portion of the guitar seem to "jump" into a different position after the nut. My guess is that this is a photoshop.

I had a go on one of those fender les pauls the other day, its inotation was perfect and the action was really snug to the fretboard! id have bought it if it wasnt so expensive >.<

The closest thing to a real Fender "Les Paul" is the '72 Telecaster Deluxe.

Similar layout of pickups, knobs and switches--but pure Fender. The Gibson Jimi Hendrix guitar I showed earlier is not mine, but this one is. 8)
