Hi telemaster000, and welcome to the forum! I've played all three, but the Jazzmaster was the only one I actually bought. Whether that makes it "better" I cannot say, but I like it. 8)

Jagmaster is just using sort of the offset bodystyle of the Jag and Jazz, doesn't have a lot else in common.

Jaguar for me however, favourite guitar of all time.

When will people figure out that's really no such thing as better,a Les Paul may be better for playing Z.Z. Top covers than a Strat but that doesn't make it a better guitar. What it all boils down to is which guitar is better suited for what you play.Is a Ferrari better than a Rolls Royce? If you want to take turns at 90 MPH yes if you want to take 3 friends off for a week in the Catskills no.It's all down to what you need in a guitar.

+1 slinger.
well said.
i love my jazzmaster because it suits my songs and style best.
but I love nature's jag as a wonderous and sleek beast.
uh, jagmaster... um, they're alright, but don't have their own unique voice like the other two.

I've just realized that there really is a better guitar...
...and it's made by Schecter. I'm officially done with Fender. :|

I prefer the Jazzmaster for its tone and I love the two sets of controls. The Jag would be good for Surf but I don't need a special guitar just for that style.

I voted for Jazzmaster because that's the only one of the three that I own. I'd say the Jaguar is close second and probably #1 for some people. It's a matter of personal taste. Jagmaster doesn't count in my book.

I'm trading in my Jagmaster today for a Mustang Bass. For the price, the Jagmaster is a fun little guitar for those who can't afford the real thing.

I voted for the Jazzmaster because its a dream guitar for me right now. I have been playing Bass for a year now and decided to venture over to playing a little 6 string. So, I just made a trade for a new Jagmaster and I really like it. For the price it looks nice and the sound isn't all that bad either.

My wife has a mid-90's Gibson Flying V and a Les Paul Studio that I have played around with, they have never felt comfortable in my hands, the Jagmaster feels natural which makes learning so much easier.

When our financial picture brightens (i.e unemployment), a Jazzmaster, a 57' P-bass and a BassVI are in the plans. Right now, my Classic Vibe Squiers, the Jag and my Hellcat VI will do fine :D
