Has anyone had issues with intonation with a (MIK) Toronado GT HH?
My local Fender shop could not get the intonation close- the 1st four
strings are sharp and the saddles cannot be adjusted any farther.
has anyone had to replace the bridge (wider) or redrill the bridge post to correct this?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, L

Okay, bear in mind i've set up a lot of guitars and been playing a long time....
I had a look at my GT model tonight which i bought virtually new.
Most of my intonation was flat, especially the low E and A strings.
After half a hour adjusting it i agree that it is a pain. The A saddle is at the very end towards the pickup end of the bridge and is still slightly flat, but it is'nt really noticeable. Other than that it is now intonated.

My MIM model is fully intonated. I bought it second hand off an experienced player so i suspect he set it up when he owned it.

I'm trying to think of something that may help your situation, not sure if a truss rod adjustment may be needed and will make things easier afterwards. It also may be worth trying a different tech, for a second opinion.
