you need to host them on an image hosting website such as imageshack.us

The body looks like a Fender Showmaster, but the headstock is different.

No, I'm not suggesting that it's a fake or even a hybrid. That headstock is reminiscent of some of the legitimate Fender headstocks from the 1980s. Unfortunately, I know very little about Showmasters. Be patient, and someone more knowledgeable will come along.

You might consider changing the title of your thread to something like "Is this a Showmaster?" That might generate more interest. To change the thread title, simply go back to your original post and hit the "Edit" button. Then you can change the title and resubmit it.

Good luck! 8)

Your guitar is Squier's version of the HM (Heavy Metal) Strat that Fender put out in the 80's (I owned one and it rocked). They were good guitars but didn't sell well to Fender "purists" so the line was moved to Squier for a while when Fender discontinued it.

They tried again with the Talon Series of guitars (most branded as Heartfield by Fender) again good guitars (I kept my Talon because it was one of the ones branded Fender on the headstock) but most "metal heads" were going Ibanez, Jackson, or Kramer at the time so low sales figures caused the Talons to be discontinued too.
