Always had good luck with eBay, but others have had bad experiences. Two of my most favorite guitars were bought there. I must admit I haven't bid on much in the last year or two so maybe things are different today.

With either ebay or CraigsList:

- know what you want
- know what you are buying
- know what its worth
- know what your budget is

Do the research on your possible purchase and if you can, on the seller.

Hello Roobatronix,

Ebay has been very succesful for me, I'm pretty
conservative in my bidding. Clear difinitive photos
and accurate descriptions makes things for the most
part worry free{the mailman is the one I fear}.

Craigs list, I've always been too late so no
success there yet.
