Hey,
I ran across this guitar at the local swapshop. I saw the classic fender headstock in black and it caught my eye. Came back the following week and decided to play it........ It's mine now and I was lucky to use the excuse of it being my B'day present to myself as the wife gave the 'another guitar' look. It was a steal @ $275 with the set neck, locking tuners, graphite nut, brass trem block, Duncan Pups and Black everything. All it needed was the set of Elixir 10's I gladly slapped on when I got it home.

Guitar plays like a dream and sounds even better. I can spank it like my strat and also get the nice full tone and sustain for my occasional rants on the Dark side. Great guitar that seems to cover everything I play (Blues, R&B, Funk and Jazz) quite easily. Seems to fit somewhere in between my Strat and Squier Esprit.

Anyone else have any experience with these guitars?

Is it the Made in Korea model? 24 frets? I have only played the FMT. It was a bit neck neck heavey for me but for $275, I would definitely snatch one up if it was is really good condition.

Yea,
It's the Korean made model with the 24 frets. This one seems to be balanced pretty well. I have an Ibanez AR250 and that thing will rotate and point straight down if you take your hand off the neck! Compared to that this thing is fine.

Excellent condition. All black with the cream binding around the body and neck.
Nice, because I can get most of the funk tones out of it I get from my strat, but it still covers the jazz exceptionally well. Perfect for the eclectic mix of guys I jam with. Depending on who I jam with, I'd either bring the strat/tele OR use my Squier Esprit for the jazzier set.

This guitar seems cover both scenarios well.
