I have just been re-united with the Mustang that i had back in 1966. I know it was made offshore. It is in pretty good physical shape, but electrically in bad shape. Probably doesn't work, always had trouble with the switches. Suggestions on getting it back in shape? Worth it? Any place you can get parts for it?

That sounds pretty cool. A site I like is www.guitarpartsresource.com. They sell a pots, switches, input, wire (cloth coated) and capaciter package for Mustangs for about $25 I think. You could also just buy the switches if that's all want. They should have any other parts you need, too. Allparts.com seems to be popular, but I've never tried it and I've heard than can be difficult. Good luck if you decide to fix it up.

I thought all Mustangs from that era were American made. My '71 was.
