While I've never played one myself, I know a lot of people like these, but no matter how many people like them, or who likes them, or who doesn't like them, since it would be you playing it, you have to like it.

So I would say--arrange a time to play it--play it unplugged first--see how it feels to hold, and how the neck feels, that sort of thing--strum some chords, play single notes--unplugged--take it for a test drive that way--do you like the sound of it?

If you don't--don't buy it--it's not likely you'll be happy with it if you don't like the sound unplugged. If you love the sound unplugged, but not plugged in there are things you can do to change it. It will be possible to make it sound good to you--but if you don't like the sound unplugged--there's little hope you'll like it no matter what you do.

Then if you like it--plug it in and check it out--check out the condition as well, and then take it for a set up if you don't know how to do it yourself--to set it up for how you play and the strings you like.

i personally like the yellow finish on this guitar and black would be a good pickguard color to mix with that finish. Now about the price, i don't know. depends on it's condition if it's as good as new, it sounds like a good deal judging on how hard it is to find one. By the way, i happen to love the fender cyclone do you know any other place to get one?
