I have a 1984/1985 Fender D'Aquisto Elite hollowbody, which is a great guitar. Are there any others out there? Mine is currently for sale, so please email me if you're interested at all. I think it is a really nice, under-rated guitar. It's too bad that the market really seems to under-value these guitars.

Have never heard a bad word about the Fender D'Aquisto guitars. If memory serves, the late master luthier was aproached by Fender and there was an earnest collaboration where he had not only the main input on design, but also production and quality control.

Have only seen a couple Fender DAQs and heard one; magnificent guitars in this opinion a giant step ahead of a Gibson ES-175 and not horribly bad compared with an L-5.

Best of fortune.

The D'Aquistos are so #$@*&!% sexy. Would love to have one, but I've seen them go for outrageous prices, waaaaay out of my range
