Hi there, I'm new to this forum. Just wondering if any one here has any experience with owning and playing a '70's Starcaster. I know it's kind of an obscure guitar, but as a blues player, it seems like it might be just what I'd like to use. I'm an old guy, and the Srtat and Tele are sounding a little thin to my ears. The amps I use : '67 Bandmaster ,'55 Oahu , and a '68 Bassman(I've modded to my preferences in a 2X10 combo cab). All comments and experiences with this guitar will be appreciated. Art

Hello Aclempoppi,

I sure remember it & there are a few members who
are also owners. Many of us always hope for a reissue.
Last year in conversation with the Fender Custom Shop,
they indicated that they are ready, willing and able to
produce the Starcaster, sadly the cost was too fantastic
for me. Here is a photo of someone elses beauty.

Cheers.
