I love my Jag-Stang. It's a great playing guitar with a unique tone and vibe. Here is a pic of all of my "odd" Fender guitars:

I've got a red jag-stang, the neck pickup with the edge rolled down has got a sweet and mellow jazz sound. It's quite ironic considering it was designed specifically for grunge. :D

I wish i had a lefty one. Being left-handed like kurt seems like a curse in finding a good shortscale fender japan.

I'll bet Jag-stangs would make a nice bass model, I love jagstangs because very few ppl know about them. They're really unique.

I will say this, the biggest hardship about owning a Jag-Stang is finding a decent hard case that fits this thing. The odd body shape makes finding a case where the guitar doesn't slide around or one that you don't have to CRAM the guitar in to fit it is quite a pain. The case that Fender sells as fitting the Mustang, Jag-Stang, Cyclone, Musicmaster, and Bronco is an EXTREMELY tight fit. I've had this case for 3 yrs and I still have to cram it in there b/c the foam just can't give anymore than it has already.

If anyone out there knows of a better fitting case, please post the model/brand so I don't have to worry about one wrong jolt to my case snapping my neck in half.
