And I don't mean a 4000 dollar custom shop version no one can afford. Would really love to see them again. With the split pickup's.

That would make for a nice MIM model or even a Squier. I'd totally get one. I've been thinking about an electric 12 for a while.

Why would they want to offer 2 electric 12-string guitars? They're already making the Stratocaster XII...isn't that enough!?!

J/K of course. It would be cool if they would re-issue the Electric XII at a price that real musicians can afford.

It could be cool, but there's something about the 12 string Strat that gets me more.

I think these are so much cooler that the strat XII. I am a huge Jazz/Jag body fan mind you. It'd be cool if maybe Squier utilized the Jagmaster body for one of these.

Actually, I'm gonna get my 12-string electric fix whenever I build a 12-string Telecaster Deluxe. So while I'm on the subject (sorry for going OT here)....hey Fender, are ya listening? 12-string Telecaster Deluxe? Hint, hint!
