Is it coming ? Should be the Jaguar Classic Player or maybe the whity Mustang. It should has some paint on between the worn. I would take the first one. I think he wrote once on his diary that fender's jaguar was the perfect guitar (should bring two Dimarzio's humbuckers) What do you think people ?

Kurt Cobain does not deserve a signature model. Period.

Uh... the Jag-Stang?

Although it wasn't technically a signature model, he designed/co-designed it. Allegedly he wasn't happy with it though.

There is already the Japanese KC Jaguar with all his mods on it, plus i suppose the Jag-stang is as good as.
No doubt Fender USA will cash in at some point though.

Don't forget that Fender Japan also has a Mustang set up like his aswell. Plus plus plus, he never had a white mustang he had the LBP, 3( only 2 where used) sonic blue mustangs, and a Red one.

None of the those people deserve one either, IMHO.

Actually, if you listen to some of the older material or live material, you'll find that Billie Joe is actually a pretty talented guitarist.

That may well be (although he has never impressed me) but that hardly qualifies him for a signature model, as far as I am concerned. It all has to do with artistry, longevity, and significant mpact on the craft. Maybe would could talk about Billy Joe in 10 or 15 years....Maybe

The fact remains that people don't get signature models because of their skill, it's to profit from them. Don't be stupid. Give a "hot" artist a signature guitar and see how many kids buy it. You seriously think Pete Wentz earned himself that sig. p-bass? His playing is garbage. Root notes repeat... F--k him. It's all about profit and 30% of the time, talent.

Excuse my rant.

I agree. It does take talent just to own a signature guitar!

You are correct. That is the way it is working. What I am saying is that I disagree with it - immensely.

Yea, it should be more of a talent-specific ordeal instead of a platinum record system.

The only good reason for buying signature models in my opinion
is because they are modified (for example bigger frets, different neck,
different pickups and so on).
But I guess most people buy them because of the name..
which I think is just stupid.
