Hey there! A few years back, my uncle found his student guitar in his attic that he learned on back in the early 60's. Knowing that I was an avid player and collector, he gave it to me. It is a 1959 Gibson ES 125 3/4 scale. The wierd thing is, that it is exactly the same as an ES 125 except that it is 3/4 the size. It is pretty cool actually, very small and super easy to play!

Most of my guitars look fairly unusual. I get the most comments when I play my purple strat, my Les Paul BFG or my Peavey T-60.

I have to name three, one was my first guitar a no brandname guitar , white with some single coil pickup and a humbucker that sound amazing (even though theres no way of knowing what they are) mainly because this waws my first guitar for years I rocked with it, second one would be my esp kh 603 because it was my second guitar and a huge jump from my other no brand guitar.. it came with emg 81's and an original floyd rose bridge neck through with maple wings and overall it sounds really nice .... my third would be my partsocaster... which I assembled from different parts including a highway one strat neck, EMG pickups, alder MIM 60's body and schaller locking tunners and strap locks... this one is my most played guitar so far because it is very versatyle I can get any sound with it since it has splitting coil pickups... and the highway one neck has big frets which are really cool for me ..... :)

Hi - I'm new to the forum, but have been around Fender guitars for many, many years.

Here's an odd Fender for you, it's a 10 string (probably an attempt to build a Tiple by either a Fender employee or as a factory prototype)

The body is from a CAR Mustang with comp stripe (with a modified bridge & trem bar to accomodate the additional 4 strings) & the neck is a slightly modified one from a bound Maverick / Custom.

Serial number is from the 1972 series, but the tuners are double line Klusons (obviously not used for some years on production guitars)

The headstock decal is clearly from an Electric XII with the II bit cut off!

All other dateable parts are from pre-1972 (as would be the Maverick / Custom neck) so the 72 serial number is probably correct.

As far as I know this unrecorded Fender is unique, & the US dealer who supplied it, said that he bought the guitar direct from a Fender employee.

Which doubles a boat paddle--but still looks kind of cool.
