Help... I purchased a Fender Showmaster limited edition Cherry Burst with the oil rubbed hardward, it was sitting in the showroom of Anderson Music for some time. I attempted to change the strings and for some strange reason I can not get the "B" string to go through the tuner hole!!! Someone please advise before I lose my mind. I took it back to the store and they were no help...

If it is a string thru body design try running the string from the other end to see if something is blocking it. If this work's go back to the place you bought it from and tell them to shove it up their $@!. Should have been more help to you.

The ShowMaster comes with Sperzel Trim-Lok tuning machines. Is the cutter in the cutting position? If so, there is your issue. It may be stuck also.

Take it back to the shop and let them sort it out.

+1. You shouldn't have to live with that.
