My favourite is probably the Jaguar but which one do you like and why?

I like the Jazzmaster over the Jaguar, probably because of the scale length. When I was a kid I craved a Jaguar for awhile but then when I played a friend's it felt kind of mushy or something. I don't remember exactly what the impression was but it "cured" me of my craving at the time. I will admit that when I tried out a Classic Player jag recently it felt pretty nice.

I think Mustangs are kind of cool but I don't think I've ever played one. Also, if someone gave me a Fender D'Aquisto jazzbox, I wouldn't give it back.

Another Fender that I always liked which you don't hear much about is the older sixties-era acoustics. I've heard that they were not very good, but I don't know firsthand. If you look for Neil LeVang playing Wild Dog on YouTube, you will see one in use, not to mention some of the best rhythm guitar playing you'll ever hear.

The Jazzmaster and Cyclone. I love the different design and the feel and sound of them. Especially the versatility.

Jazzmaster, '96 MIJ with 2 years ago-installed Fender AVRI pups. Great instrument.

But gotta admit, 'bought a Classic Player Jaguar MIM 3 weeks ago and it is an incredible sweetheart. Gaudy, visually striking (ruby metallic) voloptuously toneful and really easy to play.

And of course, there's the magnificent, completely under-rated Fender VI 6-string bass (the guitar equivalent of a tenor saxaphone, what a hip melody-line instrument!).

Leo was absolutely on when he designed and produced them: the Jazzmaster, Jaguar and VI WERE improvements on the Tele and Strat.

I couldn't agree more. The VI was one of the most innovative instruments Leo came up with. Paul McCartney even used one.

I love my Cyclone HH. Plays great, sweet tone.

My choice is the Jazzmaster. This is my CIJ Q-Series Jazzer in Lake Placid Blue . . .

I'll have to go with the Fender VI (Bass VI), as well. Not only do I agree with the both of you, I own one.

A picture of it, in this thread.

Another vote for the Jazzmaster :D

I'm surprised how popular they are... I always thought they were a bit quirky, but I like em

Most likely eBay, or the possibility of running into one at a second hand shop
