Looking for a bit of help. I bought a new Classic Player (aka Mexican) Jazzmaster from GC about a week ago. They didn't have the Jazzmaster trem arm and instead gave me one for a Strat. After realizing this I ordered a replacement online.

It didn't take long to realize that the new trem arm didn't fit at all. According to the Fender specs the Classic Player series are the first to use threaded arms. That's all well and fine, but tracking down a replacement threaded jazzmaster tremolo arm has been impossible. Though Japanese and American versions are in abundance.

Does anyone know where I can get one of the new threaded trem arms online?

Thanks.

Scratch head, here; 'bought a Classic Player Jaguar 32 weeks ago and it had a plain-end vibrato arm.

You gotta contact the Fender pros in the company.

allparts seems to be putting in a good effort. Its a special order, a 4-6 week wait, but its the only option I guess.
