I have the red GT model (MIK), i used to have a white MIM deluxe model too but i sold that one.

The GT model in my opinion is possibly one of the closest times Fender has gotten to Gibson sounds. The mahogany body, large frets, tune-o-matic and Duncan humbuckers makes it a warm sounding guitar. Its one of my favourates in my collection.

Whoa, when did they come with p90's? Is that swapped or was this durring that 04-06 period when I stopped recieving musiciansfriend catalogs?

Oh no it's bone stock. It's a DZ2xxxxxx number. I do know the Deluxe came with either P90's or H/B's. It's such a wicked guitar. That and my Egnater Rebel sounds so cool. Peace. J.J.B.

Butterscotch Blonde
Atomic II + Seymour Duncan Hums
I got it on ebay in september 08. It was a decent price, given the quality and rarity of the thing. Import taxes from the U.S. were crazy. I knew it would be and I have no regrets ;)

You got to hunt for one. The MIM's are lot more common and that ain't saying much. I was looking for a Am Deluxe Toronado or a Les Paul Studio Gem for about a year+. Both P90 git's and both about a scarce as hens teeth. But perseverance prevailed and now a proud owner of the previous posted beauty. Got mine off of the local C/L and paid what was asked cause they knew what they had and they knew I wanted it.
Peace. J.J.B.

Brother very very cool. And you bought them in Europe I'm very impressed. It took me a year to find mine in the states. The orange one is like a 'tele I want to build. Peace. J.J.B.
