Post subject: bullet usa?

how can i tell if a fender bullet is usa made or not ,it does not say squire on it at all,3 p/u,2 knobs,tri-color vintage looking finish :?: :?:

The serial number will begin with a "M" if it's made in Mexico.

in the harmony central user reviews,for fender bullets,some one saidif the serial # starts with an E1 it is usa made,Does any one know if this is true,I will have to double check but I think the one in question starts with an E6

I think that as long as you don't find taco sauce in the strings, you're okay.

They made the Bullet's in the US starting in 81 with a single cutaway Tele-style body and 82-83 with a Strat double cutaway body. These should have had serial numbers beginning with E1, E2 & E3. The 84 model transfered production to Japan so yours should be a Japanese made Squire Bullet. I have an 82 Deluxe H2 and it starts with E2 in the serial number.

You can probably call or e-mail customer service and give them the serial number and they'll tell you where it was made, etc...
